White Stone Somang Korean Baptist Church

White Stone Somang Korean Baptist began in 2007 when Pastor Ciseon Kim responded to God’s call to reach the many Korean Americans in the Atlanta/Doraville area. We are meeting for Bible study and worship on Sunday mornings at First Baptist Church of Doraville and also on Wednesdays for prayer.

The vision of White Stone Somang is to make disciples of Korean Americans. As a new church, finances are a challenge, but we hope to one day be self-supporting.

There are about 30 of us meeting now and we hope to continue to add to our number as we share the gospel with Korean Americans in our community.

Ciseon Kim

Ciseon Kim became very ill when he was a high school student, but God saw fit to heal him, and thus began Ciseon’s relationship with Jesus Christ. Not long after this, Ciseon knew that God was calling him to be a pastor. While still in Korea, he received his Master of Divinity from Korea Baptist Seminary.

In 2003, Ciseon came to the United States and was invited to pastor Korean Baptist Church in Louisiana. In 2007, he began White Stone Somang Korean Baptist Church in Doraville. Ciseon is married and has one adult son and a daughter-in-law.
