1027 is a church in the city, for the city. Located in the historic neighborhood of Virginia Highlands, we meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings at Inman Middle School, located on the corner of Virginia Avenue and Park Drive.

1027church has planted two other churches in Atlanta.

Tim Wolfe is serving as a Church Planting Missionary Pastor in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife Pam and their three children: Ariah, Asa, and Seth. 1027church is the third church plant that the Wolfe family has been a part of.

Tim’s responsibilities include planting 1027church and working with Urban Atlanta Church Planting (UACP). The mission of UACP is to intentionally plant healthy, reproducing congregations inside the perimeter of Atlanta. To accomplish this, the UACP emphasizes community transformation (evangelism that results in changed lives), and leadership development (though intentional coaching relationships). The UACP is a partnership that includes the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association, the Atlanta Association of Southern Baptists, the Georgia Baptist Convention, the North American Mission Board, and LifeWay.

At this time, Tim is working with the team in developing an urban church planting strategy and leading the Urban Church Planters’ Residency program and co-leading a college semester missionary program.
